MY DREAM UNIVERSITY, WATERLOO

All high school students have their own dream universities, also I do. My favorite school is University of Waterloo, which is not very famous, but owns the greatest math faculty in the world.

When I was young, I was interested in numbers. I can do any calculations without using calculators. Therefore, my father believes that his son is intelligent on math. Then, my father took me to study Olympic math classes. I did well in Olympic math classes. When I went to high school, I still like studying math. I also can get high mark on math.

Nevertheless, my mum told me that math is only a basic tool to use, not a career. I feel amazed on whether I continue to study math. When I was confused about it, suddenly one day, I found that actuarial science is a wonderful career for math lovers. Then, I also found that university of waterloo has the biggest and greatest math program in the world. After that time, university of waterloo becomes my dream university.

U.W owns a large amount of math genius, so the competition is much stressed. But I am also confident in my math ability. But U.W requires the international students with higher English ability, however, but English ability is just usual. Therefore, I spend much time on practicing English in order to achieve the requirement of U.W.

I will try my best to work hard to accomplish my dream.

breaking free

My favorite song is breaking free. It is regarded as the most beautiful song in 2003.It talks that if you can try everything you can breaking free. It’s not just hopeless, but real. My real reason for love the song is that breaking free is the first song I sing with my girlfriend. The song is very useful for her and me. I remember that I took part in drama class in grade 10, and I watched the first move which is called High School Music. It is a musical movie, and the most popular song in it is called breaking free. One day, drama teacher let me act the act, and let another girl act the actress of the movie. Therefore, we sing together, and our love had begun~~ hahahaha~ although I felt so shame of saying this memory, I still said that. If the audience sees my journal, please do not say young love is bad. Just laughing is ok.

Term One filled with tiredness and happiness

My term one has gone; it was a tired and happy term in my grade 12 life. Why it is tired? The answer is that I never study as hardest as term one. I study many arduous courses in term one such as physics and chemistry, which is meant by this, is that I need to spend a lot of time on calculating the questions. The questions are so difficult that sometimes I want to give up. However, I do not, because I want to go to a good university. I can not give up my hope; therefore, I continue those ugly curses. I always study at 11’o clock, so those courses make me waste lots of time on comfortable sleeping. Although I feel so tired during term 1, I get a beautiful mark. That is the reason why I experience a happy term. My average mark is 89 present, which is also I never get it before. Thanks to my hard working, I can get such high mark. Although my mark is high, my English is 57 present. I think this mark is adequate better for me, because English cost me a large amount of time. I will go on studding hard on next term especially for English. Term 2 is a new beginning, which means everything before it has become zero. Fighting, fighting, and fighting. Also, good luck for me.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM OF DALIAN

Dalian is a beautiful city, which has blue sky, and clear sea. However, the environmental problem of Dalian is worse and worse. Although the government of Dalian does attract attention to the growing problem of pollution and destruction of the environment, I don’t believe it is the best way or only way to protect the environment. Followed by the development of Dalian, the pollution, whether it is environmental pollution, energy insufficiency, arise from the abusive behavior of all individuals. We need a good plan to resolve these problems which is collective consciousness. It means each individual must be aware of the impact he has on the world, and endeavor to contribute their homeland. Therefore, everyone will love their homeland. These are perhaps long term solutions, but they are the most realistic solutions.

Sea Food

My hometown, Dalian is a beautiful city near the sea. Dalian is famous as its sea food, such as shrimp, crab, and echinus. When travelling in Dalian, tourists are attracted by the sea food. Not only sea food is very delicious, but it has a large amount of nutrition such as protein. Many residents living in inland have no opportunity to eat fresh sea food, but Dalian is a good place in which you can eat any fresh sea food they want. By the way, the most famous sea food of Dalian is sea cucumber, which provides a lot of protein. The sea cucumber is very scary, but in Dalian, you can see it anywhere. Welcome to Dalian!! Welcome to degust the sea food!! As a local, I welcome you are coming!!

Terry Fox

When I watch the movie of Terry Fox, I have to say that Terry Fox is a great hero of Canadian. His spirit of persistent is good example we need to learn. Although Terry Fox is a disable perpon, he doesn't give up his sports life. He continues running and running, and no dangers can interrupt his wish of running. Because of his persistent value, he fannally accomplish his trip successfully. After that, many teenagers are proud of him, and he is regarded as a hero. Nowadays, we are normal, not disable. Therefore, we need to study the persistent spirit of Terry Fox.

Crazy Mr.E

The holiday is over, and the new term is coming. I met a lot of new teachers at the mid of this year. I hold that the most special teacher is my English 12 teacher Mr. E.

When I came in English 12 class, I saw a strange man with his green eyes. He looks not very strong, however, he has a very very loud voice. He always speak a word loudly and suddenly so that i was frighterned by him. I also heard oter people saying that Mr.E is a stricked teacher,and gives students low mark. However, i think Mr.E is responsible for students. No one can sleep in his class. Thus, I like the atmosphere of Mr.E class. I hope and believe I CAN pass English 12.

My other teachers are also very good, i think i can have a intersting year of my life.
